What's new in LeafKit

1. September 12, 2026Plans

   New plans: Pro per app, and Plus for all five

   • Pro is now a subscription for one app: $9 a month or $75 a year ($7 a month for PlannerLeaf, and the same $75 a year). The first 7 days are free.
   • LeafKit Plus is $39 a month or $300 a year and unlocks Pro in all five apps.
   • Payment is through Stripe, and you can cancel any time from your account.
   • The one-time Pro unlocks and the five-app bundle are no longer sold. If you already bought one, your key keeps working for that app and you do not need to subscribe.
   • The free tier did not change. Every tool still works without an account, and signing in by email for backup and sync is still free.
2. September 11, 2026Data safetyAll apps

   Production pass across all five apps

   • Deleted items now go to a trash you can undo from, and deletions stay deleted when your work syncs to another device.
   • Optional auto-backup to a folder you pick, so a copy of your work is written to your own disk after every save. Chrome, Edge and Opera only for now.
   • If the browser refuses to save (storage full or blocked), you now get a warning instead of a false "Saved" message.
   • New cover images, and pricing that reads the same everywhere on the page.

   Clearer wording about accounts

   • The tools work without an account, and we say so. Sync is the part that needs an email, and signing in for it is free and has no password. Premium is optional.
4. September 5, 2026Plans

   LeafKit Plus

   • One subscription unlocks Pro in all five apps. Launched at $3 a month or $24 a year, with the first 7 days free. Prices changed on 2026-09-12, see the entry above.
   • At the time, one-time Pro unlocks and the five-app bundle were also on sale.
5. September 5, 2026Accounts

   LeafKit account and sync

   • Sign in with your email, no password. Your work follows you to another device, and your Pro unlock follows your account.
   • Free accounts keep synced data for 90 days after your last visit. Plus keeps it while you subscribe.
6. September 5, 2026Data safety

   Encrypted cloud recovery

   • A recovery code that works without an account. Your work is encrypted in your browser before it is uploaded, we store only ciphertext we cannot read, and losing the code means the backup cannot be recovered by anyone including us.
   • Unused backups are deleted after 30 days on free and 180 days on Pro.
7. September 5, 2026Design

   Canopy redesign

   • A single look across the hub and all five apps: new type, calmer colour, and one clear action per screen.
8. September 4, 2026New

   LeafKit launched

   • Five free browser tools went live at leafkithq.com: InvoiceLeaf, PitchLeaf, RentLeaf, TagLeaf and PlannerLeaf.
   • Free JSON backup and restore in every app from day one, never behind a paywall.
